On your way to the birthplace of Yonga,
A beautiful mural of each season was painted.
In the front of house, ivy plants are grown heavily.
Once again, it reminds us of the fact it is an old place.

This is the entrance of the birthplace.
It has been designated as the 13th of Gwangju Historic Monuments.
This memorial stone was stood in the front.
Actually, this house was a thatched cottage before 1970.
However, it was changed into tiled house due to the new community movement in 1970.
After that, this house has been changed into a thatched cottage again, because of the restoration project in 1995.

 You must use side door
not the main gate to go into the birthplace.
This is because the descendant of the poet lives in here.
So, usually the main gate was closed.

In the yard, there were wooden chairs and a poster related to a cultural assets of yonga.

Also, various pictures of poets were painted.

Here is a concert schedule for the humanities that proceeded in the Yonga birthplace.
It would be a good idea to participate in this for those who has interests in here.

Unfortunately, a gateway to thatched house was closed, so we cannot go any further.
Also, there are a man's restroom and the ladies ' room at the behind of the place.

Extinguishers are set perfectly in everywhere.

If you look at the other side of the entrance, you can observe a poetry of Yong-Cheol park which is inscribed in the stone.
This poem is "The departing ship" written by poet Park yong-cheol.
The stone is set up by the Gwangsan-gu Office in 2008.
Plus this poem,"The departing ship", is the major work and also debut work of Yong-cheol, Park.
