a very first city park established in Gwangju

first floor is a kiosk and 2nd floor is 4.19 office

community center provides a lot of facilities from an underground to 4th
floor, providing 664 seats.

now, they're under reconstructing.

built to honor seven Koreans who fought against communist.

광주 성거사지 오층석탑 is another reason that makes Gwangju park meaningful
It's
built in Goryeo dynasty
Before,
Gwangju Park was actually called Mt. Seong geo
Because
the mountain looked like a turtle so they built Seong geo temple on the
"back" of turtle so that a turtle would not leave Gwangju.
On
the "neck" of turtle, they built a 'Fifth stone tower'.
At
Gwangju Park, it's worth to enjoy the history and its beauty
But
it's so nice outside today!

If
you get out at Gwangju park bus stop,
You’ll
see a big parking lot
From
there, keep walking towards the stairs with Haete monuments.
