You got hungry after walking in Gwangju Lake Park right?
When it’s not time for meal but wants to eat something
How about going to Bakseungja Donut?
 Here is the menu
I liked ‘handmade donuts right away’
Motnani pat donut, Kechal donut, Chapsal qwabaegi donut, and Heuk-imja stick donut, etc.
There are so many kinds!
I think it’s a reasonable price
5,000 won for 10 donuts, 500 won for one
Here is the interior of the restaurant
There were many plants which went well with Lake Park
It was cool
I saw some cute decorations here and there
Especially, I like this small ‘Bakseungja Donut’ box

Almost everyone got to-go
But there are tables and seats where you can eat inside
It’s pretty big
So it’s also nice to eat inside
Bakseungja Donut makes donuts right away after you ordered
The kitchen is open
So you can see the inside how they’re making!
I could hear them frying in the oil
I couldn’t wait to eat!!

There are boxes prepared to wrap right after
There were so many boxes
And they were making so fast
 Donuts are sweet enough
But if you want sweeter
There’s honey!
While there are some people who prefer sweet,
there might be some people who don’t
Bakseungja Donut sprinkles sugar at the end
If you think it’s too sweet, tell them in advance.
Bakseungja Donut sells not only donuts
But they also sell different kinds of drinks
Strawberry, Kiwi, and Mango Smoothies for 3000 won!!!
With donuts, it would be a perfect combination
Now I am going to give you guys some tips for Bakseungja Donut
Because there are a lot of people coming to Bakseungja Donut,
if you just visit, you might have to wait for a long time.
If you give a call with the number provided about 10 minutes before visiting, you do not have to wait that long
Every Monday of first week of the month is a closed
There is only one day off a month
So avoid this day!
As it is located right in front of Sangtae Park,
The sign board that says “Don’t throw away boxes” caught my attention.
If you throw away garbages in the park, it would be so dirty
After you enjoyed your donuts, put your trash in the bin.
 Bathroom is not provided inside
But there is one across in the “Junggan Giwajib” building.

02 |Tasting
After a long wait, I was able to taste Bakseungja Donuts
I ordered Motnani pat donut and Kechal donut half-half.
Each kind for 5, in total of 10 donuts for 5000 won,
I was excited that I was able to taste donuts with a cheap price.
As I opened, the sweet smell hit my nose.
A bit bigger donuts are Motnani pat donuts
and round ones are Kechal donuts
They filled the whole box.
 Let’s try one by one.
First of all, Motnani pat donut looked bumpy just like its name. It looks ugly!
But sometimes, ugly foods can be more delicious, right?
 I took a bite
It was filled with adzuki beans.
Because it was just made, I was able to eat still warm and delicious
Sweet adzuki beans and sugar tasted really sweet.

Kechal donuts were way chewier than
Motnani pat donuts
It was too hot to hold, so I had to hold with a paper towel.
It is perfect size for one bite!
There is sesame instead of adzuki beans,
there was more mild taste rather than sweet.
If you like sweet choose Motnani pat donuts
If you like mild taste rather than sweet, try Kechal donuts!
