 Let me introduce Chungjangro, a downtown as known for the street of youth!

 

01 ｜Visit

Chungjangro is often called Myungdong streets because of its fashion streets where you can see all fashion trends of Gwangju here.

 Since 1946, it's called Chungjangro in order to honor Gen. Ducryung Kim.

 From Chungjangro 1ga to 3ga, they have all these creative stuffs in the stores

 A vibrant energy is filled in the streets of Chungjangro that you can see from people's smile and their fashion

 

 Also, Chungjangro 4ga and 5ga have Hanbok stores which sell Korean traditional clothes such as traditional wedding dresses, modernized hanbok, etc

 Chungjangro has so many brands

 For a second, I felt like i was in Myungdong

 

 Gungjeon bakery, one of the top bakeries in Korea, is also located in Chungjangro!

 

 Street concerts were held in some places

 I stop for a while to listen to the music

 

 This junction is really crowded

 For that reason, a lot of events were held here

 

 You could find Asian Food Streets nearby National Asian Cultures Hall

 They are developing and advertising Namdo Food to be a cultural content.

 

 Arcade, karaoke, and a sticker photo studio~

 

 A gallery zone has a lot of cloth stores and jewelry stores.

Take either of these buses: Poong-am 06, Jinwol 07, Suwan 12, Jiwon 45, Geumnam 55, Geumnam 59, Song-am 74.

 Then, get off at Chungjang Chian Center

 

Because Chungjangro is so big so you can get off at any bus stop that's close to where you'd like to go
