I would have taken prettier pictures if the weather had been fine,
Seochang Field is known as the most extensive field
in Gwangju.~
As soon as we arrived, the spacious Yeongsan River
greeted us!
We were tired after the intense trip, however, we
felt relieved as soon as we stood on the field.
This is the sunset I photographed thirty minutes
before the sun set.
Isn’t the sun reflected on the river beautiful?
This place seems to be the ‘perfect’ place to
take a drive while viewing the sunset along the
road!
I feel that the most attractive thing at the
Seochang Field were the reeds.
When the wind blows slightly, the reeds bump into
each other, making a sound that creates a
peaceful feeling.
I viewed the sunset for a while buried in the reeds,
and because this place was so silent, unlike the busy
riverside of other areas,
I could organize my complicated thoughts.
The sunset I viewed within the reeds was a piece of
art.
Bicycle paths are formed at Seochang Field.
Here families come and ride or teach others how to
ride a bike
or members of clubs come and ride along the paths!
It was a pleasant sight to see.
I really want to recommend this place to those who
enjoy riding a bicycle.

This is a picture of Seochang Sunset Field at
ordinary times.
There were many clouds on the day we visited
so we could not see far,
However, this scenery makes me want to visit again!
I would have taken prettier pictures if the weather had been fine,
This is a place I wish to recommend to
those who normally like to ride bikes or or go for a
drive.
I wasn’t able to record in more detail because the
course was too long,
However, you
should visit this place to feel the nature of Gwangju!

The glow of the sunset spreads along the Yeongsan
River.
In addition, there are bicycle paths, benches, and
restrooms in a number of areas.
Take a visit as if you were visiting a park.
* At Seochang-dong, “Manduri,” a forgotten Korean traditional play praying for a
rich harvest, is performed at the field
in front of Seochang Folk Culture Village (next to Seochang-dong Office) from
10am from the end of July.
Viewing the Seochang Manduri Harvesting Ritual will
make a more fulfilling trip.

03|How to get there
Seochang field straight up the Yeongsangang River leading up to, and so I recommend you use a car, rather than public transportation.
Bus Terminal, Gwangju, Korea got off the public by a bus stop across from coming out of traffic toward the square in time you get when you go on.
That appears right in front of the bus stop is not a crosswalk then use the bus station located in front of VIPs and you must.
